315 Restaurant & Wine Bar Review – Santa Fe New Mexico – Restaurant

Old Santa Fe Trail and South Capitol

French

As if it were on a thoroughfare in Paris rather than on Old Santa Fe Trail, 315 has a Continental, white-tablecloth sophistication, but the offbeat wall art and unfussy ambience gives it a light, fun feel. Chef-owner Louis Moskow uses traditional techniques to prepare contemporary French bistro fare using organic vegetables and locally raised meats. Daily specialties on the ever-evolving menu might include house-smoked trout rillettes with grilled flatbread, duck leg confit and breast with huckleberries and farro risotto, and crispy wild mushroom polenta with black truffle and sherry velouté. The garden patio opens onto the street scene. There’s also a wine bar with an exceptional list of vintages and light snacks, like crispy monkfish “nuggets” and house-made tater tots with wasabi tobiko caviar and crème fraîche.
