It’s time to celebrate the mothers and mother figures in our lives.

Dallas-Fort Worth restaurants are preparing upscale brunches, casual lunches, seasonal cocktails and even a drag show on Mother’s Day, May 8. Reservations are encouraged at most places.

The Bishop Arts District neighborhood restaurant will offer a special brunch with blue corn butterscotch pancakes, skillet quiche, house-made English muffins with beef cheek pastrami, deviled egg puree and pimento cheese. Prices vary. 614 W. Davis St., Dallas.
