Fans of Supernatural (or IPAs) can choose from an assortment of beers on tap at Jensen Ackles’ Dripping Springs brewery. Located down the road from Hamilton Pool, Family Business Beer Co. is the perfect spot to quench your thirst after a long day in the sun. Walton’s Fancy and Staple (owned by Sandra Bullock)

It’s no surprise that one of our favorite actresses is also the mastermind behind one of our favorite breakfast spots. With their iconic ivy-lined brick walls and freshly baked pastries, Walton’s has become a go-to for picturesque weekend brunches or satisfying that sweet tooth. Juan Pelota Cafe (owned by Lance Armstrong)

400 Nueces St

Combining his love for cycling with an excellent sense of humor, Lance Armstrong opened a cafe inside Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop called Juan Pelota (“juan” sounding like one and “pelota” meaning ball in Spanish). In the mornings you can find independently sourced coffee or small bites, but after 3pm you’ll find one of the best happy hours in town with their $2 beer special. Originally from Chicago, Aba is the brainchild of Top Chef alum CJ Jacobson. Whipping up cuisine from Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, and Greece, this Mediterranean eatery is quickly becoming an Austin staple. You can book a reservation on their website but hurry, we hear tables are going fast.

Top Chef tenth season winner Kristen Kish can be found in Austin. Kristen also has been the host of 36 Hours on the Travel Channel and co-host of Fast Foodies on TruTv. Kristen is an executive chef and partner at local Austin restaurant Arlo Grey. Arlo Grey’s decor includes many personal touches inspired by Kristen’s life and hosts a menu with ingredients significantly sourced from Texas.
