Bowling Green Golf Club

Classic Woodlands Golf

Located in the heart of Northern New Jersey bordering Sussex, Passaic & Morris Counties, Bowling Green lies in a valley below the rugged terrain of Morris County’s Mahlon Dickerson Park and is the very definition of an Eastern woodlands landscape. Bowling Green’s front nine features narrow fairways lined with towering Red Pines or majestic Oaks. In the Spring our native Dogwoods create a white blossom under story to the bright spring green of taller trees. Later in the season, fall foliage is our signature feature. In the summer, our trees provide quite a bit of shade, keeping our temperatures several degrees lower than those of the surrounding Metropolitan area. Other classic features include doglegs, water hazards created by the bordering wetlands of the Rockaway River, nicely varying Par 3s, and recovery shots from the rough.
