CompTIA offers globally recognized, vendor-neutral credentials designed for Information Technology (IT) professionals. These credentials validate that you have the knowledge and skills to succeed in IT roles, and they are highly sought-after by employers.

CompTIA certifications are also “stackable,” so you can earn additional credentials as your knowledge and experience increase.

What is Included in CompTIA Training Bundles?

Each CompTIA training and exam bundle includes:

• One year of access to CompTIA CertMaster Learn: Learn the material and prepare for the test with comprehensive online training from CompTIA. CertMaster Learn includes full coverage of the exam objectives, plus practice exam questions and a timed final assessment that simulates the real exam.
• One year of access to CompTIA Labs: get hands-on practice in a virtual lab environment. For all programs except ITF+, the Labs are conveniently integrated into the CertMaster Learn training. ITF+ includes separate Labs access.
• Exam voucher(s): one voucher is included for ITF+, Network+ and Security+ bundles. A+ certification requires passing two certification exams. Therefore, all A+ bundles include two A+ exam vouchers. NOTE: exam vouchers do not include a “retake” option.

These training programs are provided by CompTIA.

Training Schedule and Format

This non-credit training and certification exam prep program is fully online and self-paced.

It is an open enrollment program, so you can register and start learning at any time. Once you register, you will have 12 months to complete the training program.

NOTE: because this is a self-paced program, there is not an instructor available to answer questions or help you understand the material.

CompTIA Training Options

For those with some IT work experience: CompTIA A+ Training and Exam Bundle

CompTIA A+ certification validates that you have the core tech skills for IT support roles, and it is a requirement for many entry-level IT help desk jobs.

In addition to equipping participants with core tech skills, this self-paced online training prepares participants to take the CompTIA A+ Core 1 and Core 2 certification exams.

Although not required, CompTIA suggests that A+ candidates have 9 to 12 months hands-on professional IT experience in the lab or field. If you do not have any prior technical experience, you may wish to start with CompTIA’s IT Fundamentals training (see below).

Those who do not have prior IT experience should start with the CompTIA IT Fundamentals ITF+) certification and training before they start A+ training.

ITF+ is an introduction to basic information technology terminology, knowledge, and skills.

CompTIA Network+ Training and Exam Bundle

CompTIA Network+ certification validates that you have core technology skills in networking concepts, infrastructure, network operations, security and troubleshooting.

Network+ certification is often required for network support, engineering, and administration roles.

This course helps participants acquire those core skills and prepare to take the CompTIA Network+ certification exam.

Although not required, it is recommended that participants have A+ certification and at least 9-12 months of networking experience prior to taking the Network+ exam.

CompTIA Security+ certification validates baseline security skills. It is an excellent starting point for those with some IT experience who want to move into IT security roles.

This self-paced online training helps participants acquire core IT security skills, as well as preparing to take the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. 

Although not required, it is recommended that participants have Network+ certification and two years of IT administration experience with a security focus prior to taking the Security+ exam.
