Since its establishment in 1977, A&D has contributed to the development of industry and society through “weighing and measurement.” Today, our weighing and measurement instruments are widely used in various industries and in homes.

In our current environment, we are surrounded with issues that are often overwhelming and that cause dramatic changes, such as economic stagnation, energy concerns, terrorism, low birth rates, aging populations, and other health issues. In this challenging environment, we will take the following measures to respond flexibly to changes, continuously develop A&D towards the future, and further create corporate value.

Growth Strategy

In order to continue stable growth while focusing on the future of the company, we must constantly cultivate new markets. We plan to aggressively expand our business by focusing on the following four growth fields.

Measuring instruments, simulators, and testing systems for the automobile and tire industries
Industrial measurement equipment

Weight checkers/equipment for detection of metallic material
Laboratory (research and analysis)

Effective Use of Equity Capital

Over the next five years, we plan to reduce tangible and intangible assets, while building a system that makes more effective use of our equity capital. We will strive to improve profitability by improving management efficiency, and work to create an environment that enables more proactive corporate management.

Compliance with the Corporate Governance Code

We aim to clarify our guidelines using the intent of the Corporate Governance Code, formulated by the Financial Services Agency and the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2015, as a base for achieving sustainable growth and increased corporate value over the medium to long term.
A&D will meet the expectations that our stakeholders have for the further growth of the company through the implementation of concrete measures based on our management strategy. 40th anniversary video
