OUR STORY

We invite you to Le Paon Restaurant to enjoy a special dining experience that combines old world classic elegance with contemporary French cuisine. This award-winning, 4-star restaurant has been owned and staffed in Palm Desert by the renowned Babai brothers for 40 years. Executive Chef Eddie Babai was trained in classical cooking at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris followed by the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. General Manager and Maitre d’ Antoine Babai was twice nominated Restauranteur of the Year Award by the California Restaurant Writers Association. 

We are honored to celebrate our 40th anniversary of giving service to our community as a locally-owned restaurant this year and hope for many more!
