About Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi is home to one of the most unique museums on the planet. The USS Lexington isn’t just a museum, it’s a former WWII Essex Class vintage aircraft carrier that was in operation for over 40 years. There’s several exhibitions all throughout the boat, such as one that focuses on Pearl Harbor and contains photos, maps and different artifacts from that time. The ship has 11 decks and over 1,000 square feet of space.

Horses on the Beach is a program where you can go horseback riding on the beach. They also offer different programs like nightly cookouts and hay rides. Speaking of beaches, North Beach is the perfect swimming spot and is located near the center of the city. This white sandy beach sits right on the Gulf, filled with sheltered cabanas and picnic spots located across the beach.

Lozano Golf Center has both an 18-hole course and a 9-hole executive course. The course has been around since 1965, and recent renovations have brought a lot of change to the course. The fairways are wide, and the greens roll smoothly. There’s water on most holes, so hit them straight!
