MGM Springfield’s Costa Italian Restaurant will host its grand reopening to the public on Friday, May 13. The grand reopening comes just after Costa’s soft opening on April 29, according to MGM Sprinfield.

According to a release from MGM, the hours will operate from 5 to 11 p.m.

The pizza kitchen and bar feature “made-to-order wood fired pizzas and traditional antipasti. Costa also “brings guests back to grandma’s kitchen as they indulge in everyone’s favorite Italian classics,” MGM said.

The restaurant’s bar also offers specialty handcrafted cocktails including Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Boulevardier and house-made Sangria. Guests also can choose from a robust selection of wines, draft and specialty beers, according to the release.

Here are some of the menu highlights, according to the press release:

• Margherita Pizza with mozzarella, pomodoro & basil

• Spicy Calabrian Pizza with salami, chiles and honey

• Mushroom Pizza with ricotta & fontina

• Caprese Crostini with burrata, roasted tomatoes & basil pesto

• Meatballs with whipped ricotta & basil·

The restaurant will also be open on Saturday, May 14 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
