Brautarholt Golf Course

Brautarholt Golf Course lies in a breathtaking nature by the sea with a view to Reykjavik city. GKG Golf Course

There are two golf courses at GKG, the 18 hole course called “Leirdalur” and a 9-hole course called “Mýrin”. It was in 2007 when the course was extended to 27 holes and the restructuring of the course was completed. Leirdalur golf course is considered to be one of the most interesting and pleasant golf courses in Iceland. No one will be disappointed playing the course. Mýrin is a challenging 9-hole course that tests every golfer from beginners to the low handicappers.

Keilir Golf Club

Reykjavik, Iceland

Keilir Golf Course is a links golf course placed in Hafnarfjordur town, 15 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. There is a vast difference between the front nine and the back nine. The front nine is surrounded by lava, and the back nine is placed on a small peninsula at the entrance into the Hafnarfjordur harbor, with spectacular views to Snaefellsjokull glacier and the Alftanes peninsula. Keilir Golf Course is about skill and accuracy over power and distance, particularly when dealing with the lava field in the front nine!

Oddur Golf Course (Urrida)

Reykjavik, Iceland

The Oddur Golf Course was inaugurated in August 1997 and is now considered one of the finest golf courses in Iceland. It is located in beautiful surroundings in the immediate vicinity of the greater area of Urridavatnsdalir, within about 20 minutes driving distance from the centre of Reykjavik. The golf course is surrounded by lava. It is an exhilarating experience to play golf in the midst of nesting moor birds and enjoy their singing, far away from the city’s noise and everyday toil.

Reykjavik Golf Club (Grafarholt)

The Grafarholt golf course is the oldest 18-hole golf course in Iceland. The course is recognized as Iceland’s premier championship venue and has hosted many European and Nordic tournaments. The course designer, used the existing rugged and varied landscape to produce arguably the toughest championship golf course in Iceland with fairways aligned with lava and heather requiring the golfer to use his imagination if he wants to turn in a good score. The magnificent views over the exciting city of Reykjavik make this a unique golfing experience.

Reykjavik Golf Club (Korpa)

Designed by Iceland premier golf course architect, Hannes Thorsteinsson, the Korpa golf course is one of the latest 18-hole golf courses in the country and has already established itself as one of the best golf courses in the country. There are two very different distinct nine holes on the course. The front nine stretch down and run along the beautiful coastline of the Atlantic Ocean with stunning views of Reykjavík’s signature mountain, Esja. A brilliant test of links golf is to be enjoyed on the front nine. On the back nine there are massive challenges that await players some of the holes played along the river Korpa. The course is challenging for low and high handicap golfers alike.
