State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. NASBA’s National Registry of CPE Sponsors recognizes sponsors who offer continuing professional education in accord with nationally recognized standards. Contact your state board where you hold your CPA license to determine the CPE requirements for you and if CPE offered by NASBA sponsors such as Surgent Income Tax School will meet your state’s requirements. Most states require continuing professional education to maintain an active CPA license.

Continuing Education
