Although my hometown has various companies, only a few of them employ a lot of people. One such company is “Solarwise”.

What does it do?

This company is a pioneer in solar panels manufacturing and sales.

How many people does it employ?

The company started in the year 2000 with just 20 employees. Now more than 1,000 employees work over here.

What kind of people work there?

This company employs people from all walks of life. The team comprises people from the age group of 20 years to 55 years. The company goes beyond the conventional domain while recruiting employees. Here the skillset of a person enjoys more importance than the qualifications.

That is why people from diverse backgrounds work with this company.

How do you feel about it?

This organisation is a source of inspiration for me. Solarwise has carved out a niche for itself by laying its attention on the improvement of our environment. There is no denying this conviction that due to usage of petrol and diesel our surroundings have become polluted. In this contemporary epoch where most of the companies focus on strengthening the bottom line.

This organisation is a bit different from others. The promoters over here are of an altruist nature. Their central focus is on constant research and innovation in the field of solar energy. Due to their determination, dedication and discipline, the conventional power consumption in my city has declined by thirty per cent.

All street lights in my city run on solar power. Another reason for liking this company is that it has given a new lease of life to unemployed youth by providing them employment.

What does it do?

It is a catering company by the name of food craft. This company has carved out a niche for itself in its domain.

It had a humble beginning in the year 2007. However, with the determination, dedication and discipline of its management team, it has grown by leaps and bounds.

How many people does it employ?

This company has around 1000 employees. In the starting days, most of the employees were on a contract. However, currently, all the workforce is on the payroll of the company.

What kind of people work there?

It has a workforce from all age groups. The employees engaged in customer service are mainly young. Most of them have degrees in hotel management, whereas the kitchen staff that prepares mouth-watering delicacies for the guests consists of the young and old workforce. This company converts plastic waste into products. One of its products is a flower pot which they make by using waste plastic bags.

How many people does it employ?

This company is 4,000 headstrong.

What kind of people work there?

The people working here are from all walks of life. To look after the production process, there is a team of highly qualified engineers. For sales and dispatch, the organisation utilises the services of retired people.

And the best part about this company is that it has allied with rag pickers who collect plastic waste and deposit it with the company. The company pays them for this service.

How do you feel about it?

This company is a blessing for our nation because it employs the weaker sections of society. Most people working here are those who used to find it challenging to make both ends meet due to a severe financial crunch. However, now they are living a respectful life because of permanent employment.

Moreover, due to the initiative of this company the looks of my city has changed. These days it is difficult to find waste plastic bags in our city. Because the company utilizes all of them in its production. Apart from this, the clogging of drains has stopped, and water pollution is declining considerably.

Apart from this, you get a higher payout and chances of travelling are more as compared to a small company.
