Electives | Electrical and Computer Engineering

Professional and technical electives are an integral part of the ECE major curriculum. They allow students course flexibility as well as the unique opportunity to tailor their major to their personal interests and professional goals. Generally, electives are upper division, 4 units and passed with a C- or better.

Acceptable electives per major:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

ENGINEERING PHYSICS, EE & SOCIETY

COMPUTER ENGINEERING

All courses used to satisfy major requirements must be taken for a letter grade and passed with a C- or better. The only exceptions are Special Studies courses (197,198, and 199) which are designed as P/NP and courses taken in SP20, FA20, WI21 and SP21 only.
