Girafe – Luxury Restaurant in Paris by Joseph Dirand | Restaurant Interior Design
Experience Parisian glamour in Girafe, luxury restaurant decorated in 30s design style with a contemporary approach. Located in the Museum of the City of Architecture and Heritage, in the Trocadero square in Paris, this restaurant interior design project was designed by the French star architect, Joseph Dirand. Not only this restaurant has a truly inspiring interior design, it also has a privileged location overlooking the stunning Eiffel Tower.
Girafe is all about a style of a restaurant, combining appearance, the unexpected and carelessness in a very Parisian way. A mix of sensuality and elegance, both intimate and spectacular.
Like in many Durand’s interior design projects, there is a clear dialogue between modernity and inspiration from the golden age of Parisian cafes during the decade of the 30s. This delicate balance is present in every detail. Girafe is combining elegance and sensuality, intimacy and grandeur.

The luxury dining room design was designed as a large jewelry room that is supported by the original columns. The color palette maintains a uniform style with smoked tones of soft colors, such as beige, oak, and cream.
A bar, modern and cosmopolitan at the same time, shows a large marble countertop sculpted with organic shapes.
Outside, a large terrace overlooking the most famous monument in Paris, the Eiffel Tower, has a distinct and private decoration.

Seafood cuisine combining a reassuring classicism and the cheerfulness of a brasserie while having a menu open to world trends. The food served at Girafe is a reflection of the venue, between traditional and modern cuisine, seafood fresh from the auction.
