In Destin, Kelly Plantation Golf Course was designed by Fred Couples and Gene Bates. The course showcases the beauty of Destin’s landscape, boasts miles of waterfront, 7,000 yards of contoured greens, wide fairways, and stunning views of the bay. Designed to start out as an encouraging play for novice golfers, the back tee ramps up the difficulty with low-handicap holes providing a test to those who love strategy and beating pars.

Equally as impressive is the course found at Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club. The course was designed by famed course designer for Arnold Palmer, Robert C. Walker. It offers challenging sand traps and a 1,200 square foot covered practice area.  The practice area uses video analysis with Trackman-technology that outlays a golfer’s potential and improvements to better themselves on the main course!  The 18-hole course at Emerald Bay was designed by Bob Cupp and is adjacent to the Choctawhatchee Bay. Enjoy various water attractions and features as you golf your way around the gated community of Emerald Bay. 

Fort Walton Beach Golf Courses

The Fort Walton Golf Club consists of two courses: the Pines course that showcases a casual layout through an open concept pine forest, or the Oaks Course with challenging water hazards and narrow passageways for the most experienced golfer. Fort Walton Beach is also home to Shalimar Pointe Country Club which is an 18-hole Dye-Finger design and has placed bunkers which provides a fun and exciting on the green experience. The Eglin Golf Course offers both the Eagle and Falcon courses that accompany any skill level with modern specifications, strategic layout and houses multiple tourneys year-round. Finally, Gator Lakes at Hurlburt Field has fairways that stretch for long drive games and lovers of low-handicap pars.
