Keep in mind that most golf courses near the Strip are classy establishments, with many enforcing dress codes. The rule of thumb is that you should wear a collared shirt, and avoid denim. The vast majority of golf courses near the Strip also offer loaner clubs for a fee.

Green fees when booking directly usually land in the $150 – $225 range.

The Legacy Golf Club: Just under 20 minutes away from center Strip resorts by car, The Legacy Golf Club offers 7,233 yards of golf located in Henderson. Notably, the 10th hole’s tee boxes are shaped to resemble the 4 suits in a deck of playing cards. Bear’s Best Las Vegas: Rated among the top 15 courses to play in Nevada by Golfweek, Bear’s Best was designed by Jack Nicklaus and resides 20-minutes from the Strip. Positioned on the outskirts of Las Vegas, the golf course offers plenty of rugged desert scenery which is contrasted by its meticulously maintained green fairways. While a tee time booking directly with the course can cost anywhere from $89 – $249, we recommend leveraging this Bear’s Best Groupon deal that can get you playing for as little as $59.

Angel Park Golf Club: A short 20-minute drive from the Strip, Angel Park’s 3,000-feet of elevation provides views of both Las Vegas as well as the Red Rock Mountains. Both their Mountain and Palm courses are 18 holes, however, the Mountain course is a tad longer. Both were designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. Tee times for their regulation Mountain and Palm Courses can be made here, and typically cost $115 – $225. Angel Park is also offering discounted rounds on Groupon, here.

Angel Park also offers a 12-hole par 3 “Cloud Nine” course that is illuminated at night and provides a great challenge in itself. Among the unique features that set their short course apart include a green with a bunker in the middle of it and a hole with an island green. The par-3 option makes for a perfect social experience or warm-up for their regulation 18-hole courses. If looking to play the Cloud Nine par-3 course, the best deal for Angel Park can often be found on Groupon, with prices starting at $16.

Rio Secco Golf Club: Just 22 minutes from the Strip, Rio Secco Golf Club offers panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley below including the resorts along the Strip. Surrounded by million-dollar + homes and in pristine condition, Rio Secco is among our favorite golf courses near the Strip. Certainly not the cheapest option, tee times booked directly with Rio Secco range from $150 – over $500. Before you book, check out this deal for Rio Secco available on Groupon that offers discounted tee times as low as $164.

The Club at Sunrise: Located 25 minutes east of the Strip, The Club at Sunrise is a solid value with rates of $69 on weekdays and $79 on weekends. The main critique of the course is the presence of a drainage ditch that runs along each hole that has the tendency to eat through some golf balls.

Las Vegas Golf Club: Boasting “thousands” of trees, the Las Vegas National Golf Club is a stark contrast to the desert landscape that surrounds it. The course is a short 10 -15 minute ride from resorts on the Strip. Rates for non-Nevada residents start at $69 and go up depending on the season and day of the week.

Shadow Creek Golf Club: Accessible only to folks staying at MGM Resorts properties, Shadow Creek is among the best golf courses in Las Vegas. If staying at an MGM property, call 1-866-260-0069 to gauge pricing and availability. While I haven’t played the course, it looks unreal.
