Golf Courses in Redmond, OR – Visit Redmond Oregon

For variety in one place, Eagle Crest Resort is a good bet. There are three 18-hole courses plus a putting course. The views of the Cascade Mountains are unbeatable. The Ridge Course is a par 72 “driver’s dream” with landing areas that allow golfers to hit long balls across its total 6,927 yards. We also love the views of Smith Rock from this course. A bit shorter at 6,704 yards, the Resort Course brings variety.  There are wide fairways on the front nine while the back nine test your accuracy with tighter fairways. The Challenge Course is a par 63, 4,160 yard course. We tackle this fun round when we are short on time but still want great views and a satisfying game.

For a public, award-winning course, we play at Juniper Golf Course. A par 72 course, Juniper was designed by renowned architect John Harbottle. The greens are both pristine and challenging, hosting the 2007 and 2010 Oregon Open. At 7,200 yards, you have plenty of time to soak up the mountain views.

Just 20 minutes north of Redmond is a wonderful course nestled in a canyon. Crooked River Ranch Golf Course is a well-maintained par 71 course with great rates, fun fairways and awesomely rugged views.

Twenty minutes west of Redmond near Sisters, we enjoy playing on Aspen Lakes Golf Course near Sisters.  Aspen Lakes is a par 72, 7,300-yard course with wonderful high desert views and very friendly staff.

We also make our way 30 minutes east to Meadow Lakes Golf Course in Prineville. This par 72 is an affordable, fun and challenging 6,783 yard course. Watch out for the nine ponds and 62 bunkers. It’s easy to be distracted by the scenery of desert brush, rolling buttes and the Crooked River rushing alongside much of the course.

For the true golf aficionado, try playing the entire Central Oregon Golf Trail. You’ll play at over 30 golf courses within the Bend area, including three of Golf Digest’s Top 100 golf courses: Pronghorn Golf Course, Tetherow Resort, and Crosswater Golf Course.
