Grandy’s feature “homestyle” cooking and promotes its “comfort food” menu.

Grandy’s had a location on Kemp Boulevard for several years, but it closed and became a tobacco shop.

The company was founded by a couple of Dallas entrepreneurs in 1972 but has changed hands several times over the years. The name now has about 24 stores franchised across six states with most locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
