Build the finest restaurant in the Happy Home Paradise DLC Pack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH) using the skills you learned as a Paradise Planning employee!

How to Unlock the Restaurant

　Complete 12 vacation homes.

　Talk to Lottie to work on the restaurant.

　Build the restaurant.

1. Complete 12 Vacation Homes

Continue progressing the story until you have completed 12 vacation homes for your clients.

2. Talk to Lottie to Work on the Restaurant

After completing 12 vacation homes, talk to Lottie to go to work. She will mention that she has obtained permission to build another facility in the island.

You have the option to choose between a restaurant or a cafe. Choose “Build a restaurant!“.

3. Build the Restaurant

Once you are inside the restaurant, you are required to place the following furniture to complete the facility:

Dining Hall Required Furniture

Cash Register x1
Table x1
Chair x4

Kitchen Required Furniture

Stove Top x2

After placing all the required furniture in the Dining Hall and Kitchen, talk to Lottie to finish designing the restaurant.

Take the celebratory photo

After completing the restaurant, you will take a photo of the Paradise Planning team and the facility members! Press the ZR button to have everyone pose and then press the Plus (+) button to take the photo!

How to Expand the Restaurant

　Talk to Lottie to work on the private room.

　Build the private room.

1. Add 3 Pairs of Roommates in the Archipelago

To unlock the Private Room, you need to add 3 pairs of roommates in the archipelago.

Talk to Lottie to go to work and use the Happy Home Network app to visit a client’s island. Talk to the client, choose “How’s your home?” and select “Let’s talk roommates”.

2. Talk to Lottie to Work on the Private Room

After adding 3 pairs of roommates, Lottie will request you to add a private room in the restaurant. Talk to her, select “Let’s talk about facilities”, and choose “The restaurant”.

Select the new “Expand it.” option to build the private room

3. Build the Private Room

Once you are inside the restaurant, head up to the stairs on your left to reach the private room. Place the following furniture to complete the new room:

Chair x2

Optional: Take the celebratory photo

Once you have completed the Private Room, you have the option to take the celebratory photo or choose to go back to the Paradise Planning office.

What You Can Do

Obtain Cooking Recipes

You can get a daily cooking recipe from the chef at the kitchen, so be sure to drop by at the restaurant every day!

Remodel the Restaurant

If you want to change the exterior and interior of the restaurant once it’s built, talk to Lottie inside the Paradise Planning office and choose “Let’s talk about facilities”.

Remodeling the restaurant gives you Poki for your hard work!

Invite the Facility Members for a Dance

If DJ KK is present on the island, you can talk to one of the facility members to invite them for a dance! Doing this allows you to view all the photos of the vacation homes you made.
