Grab your friends and family to participate in a two-week celebration of local food and drinks with the Howard County Restaurant Weeks & Craft Beverages event from July 11-24.

All 30 participating restaurants are small businesses that will offer unique meals and menus for
in-person dining, curbside, and to-go options.

“Howard County has one of the best restaurant scenes in the nation because of our diverse
community and its high-quality, varied cuisines,” Howard County Executive Calvin Ball said. “From gastro pubs to upscale dining – there is something for everyone to support locally owned and operated businesses during our Restaurant Weeks.”

The restaurant weeks are a way for Howard County residents and visitors to support local businesses while taking advantage of deals and trying new things.

“Our hope is for Restaurant Weeks patrons to show their gratitude to hospitality workers through words of thanks, compliments, practicing patience, and tipping up when possible,” said Amanda Hof, executive director for Visit Howard County.

The two-week event could be a much-needed boost for restaurants that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is our first time doing Restaurant Week so we’re really excited,” Diana Morel, manager of The Walrus Oyster & Ale House. “Especially after Covid we’re trying to expand and get everyone in the county to come visit.”
