longest hole on the score card. Hole # 1 is a straight away Par 5 that requires
all your attention from start to finish. Avoid the fairway bunker to give you a
nice angle for your approach shot. Keep your approach shot on the left side of
this large green that slopes back to front. Five will always a be a great score
on hole # 1.s.

short Par four will demand an accurate tee shot to this narrow fairway. Club
selection on your approach will be the difference maker to give you the
opportunity for a good scoring chance. The green is two tiered and slopes

Aim your tee shot to the right side of the fairway to avoid
the fairway bunker on the left. The right side of the fairway will give you a
good look at this long and narrow green which slopes gently back to front.

The first par three on the front side is shortest at Ironwood
but is full of challenges. Take an extra club to avoid the bunker short and
left of this sloping green. Be happy with two putts walking off this green.

short and straight par four gives you many options off the tee. Lay back with a
long iron or wood to give you a short approach to this large, flat green. Going
for the green can be rewarding and set you up a chance at birdie. Be aware of
the desert area left of the fairway. Your hopes for par can be dashed with an
approach out of the desert. Choose wisely.

Hole #6 – Par 3

This beautiful par three has an elevated tee box from the
back tees and will play slightly uphill from the forward tees. A safe play will
be playing your tee shot to the front middle of this wide and tilting green. The
two bunkers at the back of the green will test your short game skill if your
tee shot should find them. Good luck.

opportunities await here at this short and reachable par four. The shortest par
four at Ironwood begs you to go for the green off the tee. Laying back off the
tee will give you a short approach to this elevated green. There is a ridge
that dissects the middle of this sloping green. The green will slope downhill
on the front third of the green and middle to back on the back third. Have fun!

Hole #8 – Par 3

From the shortest par four, to the longest par three at
Ironwood from the back tees. Hole # 8 will be a tough test for any skill level.
Be aware of the green side bunker on the left of this large green off the tee
box. Any tee shot which finds the putting surface should be cause for
celebration. A par will here will not be given but earned.

Heading back towards the Clubhouse, we have a short par four
which will require some imagination off the tee. The simple play off the tee will
be to aim at the tall Italian Cypress tree straight away. The challenging play
off the tee would be to cut the corner of this dogleg left and take on the
fairway bunker on the left side of the fairway. Both options can give you a
good chance at par or better. Keep your approach shot to the left side of the
green to avoid a deep bunker short and right of the green.

Hole #10 – Par 3

A
strong test awaits as you to begin your back nine. Take an extra club on your
tee shot to avoid the two bunkers guarding the front of this wide green. The
safe landing area will be on the left side of the green which slopes left to
right. A tee shot to the right of this green may end up in the pond.

Hole Desc

The first of back-to-back par fours, this hole plays slight
uphill on the tee shot. Keep your tee shot to the right side of the fairway to
have a better angle to the green. Aim your approach to the right half of the
green which slope back to front. A
subtle slope on the left side of this green will pull any approach shot off the
putting surface.

Hole #12 – Par 4

This
is the longest par four at Ironwood and demands an accurate tee shot to this
uphill fairway. A lay-up may be required as a result of an errant tee shot.
Avoiding the deep greenside bunker should be your focus on your approach shot
to this wide green. Par will feel like a birdie on hole # 12.

Hole #13 – Par 3

Hole Desc

Rated the easiest hole at Ironwood, you may be surprised
that a three on the score card will be anything but easy. Take an extra club
for tee shot which will play uphill. The green is guarded by two bunkers that
will not help your quest for par here. The green slope severely back to front
with a false front on the right side. A two putt is not a given at this short
and challenging hole.

Hole #14 – Par 4

A
wide fairway will take some pressure off your tee shot at Hole # 14. The
fairway does run out about 90 yards from the middle of the green. There is a
large bunker in the middle of the fairway that you cannot see you the tee.
Place your approach to the green left front of the green which slopes left to
right and front to back.

aim your tee shot to the left of this large green. The small pond has witnessed
many chances for par dashed by errant and short tee shots! Taking an extra club

The final par four at Ironwood Golf course is a nice reward
after you challenge on the previous hole. A narrow and sloping fairway requires
an accurate tee shot. Two bunkers guard the left side of the fairway, so a tee
shot right of center is ideal. The
approach will play down hill and against the prevailing wind. The green is large and slopes back to front.

Allow yourself the opportunity at par at this beautiful par
three by taking an extra club on your tee shot which plays slightly uphill and
against the prevailing wind. A lone bunker protects the front right of this
side green that slopes from back to front.

The home hole will give you a break off the tee with the
widest fairway on the golf course. Feel free to fire away on your tee shot to
give yourself a good scoring opportunity at this straight away par five. Your
approach shot requires good club selection to this large two-tiered green which
slope back to front. A five on the score card will be well earned.
