Jalsa Bar & Restaurant opens in Crystal Lake

CRYSTAL LAKE — The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, recently helped celebrate the grand opening of the Jalsa Bar & Restaurant, 1295 Randall Road, Suite 112, Crystal Lake.

The Jalsa Bar & Restaurant is the second establishment for owners Nikunj and Dhara Patel, who also own Lucky Penny’s in Cary. They originally opened that location in late 2019 as Indian Chatpata Swad Restaurant and Indian Spices Grocers. They later remodeled the space to make it an updated restaurant and bar.

The two also plan on opening a third location soon, Lucky Lucy’s 7, at 412 Northwest Hwy. in Fox River Grove.

Jalsa boasts an extensive menu of authentic Indian food, wide selection of Indian beers along with traditional and domestic bar offerings. Jalsa also offers catering services.
