We offer all Excel titles on our public schedule which you may attend from any of ONLC’s hundreds of training centers or from your own location . On-Demand Training (self-study / eLearning)

Excel Certification

Earning a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification proves to clients and perspective employers that you have the professional skills to work confidently in a specific Office application and can maximize its features to complete tasks. ONLC’s classes can help you prep for MOS and MOS Expert certifications.

EXCEL MOS EXPERT

Earning MOS Expert certification proves you have advanced-level skills and understanding in a specific Office application and can assist others with proper use of the program’s features.

The below courses, which are the same as those for the MOS credential above, can help you get started. You should also have extensive hands-on experience with Excel before attempting the MOS-Expert exam as it goes into much greater depth and breadth than the entry-level MOS exam.

Certification Exam

MO-201: Excel Expert (Office 365 / 2019) —OR— 77-728: Excel Expert 2016: Interpreting Data for Insights.

MOS Expert authorized exams are performance-based and available from Certiport. Exam candidates schedule directly with Certiport. When you pass the authorized exam, you will receive a digital badge for that credential. Microsoft changes their exams frequently to maintain integrity, as such, training alone may not cover all skills on the exam.

Other Information & Options

Microsoft Excel Versions 365 / 2019 / 2016
These software versions are very similar. The difference is mostly a matter of how you’re accessing the software. Microsoft Excel 365 is accessed via the cloud. You pay a monthly subscription to use the software. Since it’s not static on your device, you’ll get updates to the software when they happen. On the otherhand, 2019 / 2016 and earlier PC versions are purchased outright and installed directly onto your computer (aka “on-premise”).
Excel features and functions are the same no matter which of these versions you’re using and as such students with those versions can attend the same classes.
