What really makes this city special to me, however, is the sheer number and variety of amazing places to eat around the area.

La Famiglia

First up on my list of best places to eat in Miramar is La Famiglia. You’ll really feel like a part of the family here at this wonderful Italian restaurant.

You can find La Famiglia off of Red Road in the Miramar Town Center mall, right next to the Miramar Cultural Center.

This restaurant is fantastic and they have all the classic Italian favorites that we know and love like lasagna, chicken parmesan, and pizza.

I highly recommend a pizza from La Famiglia. It really never disappoints. My favorite is always a classic pepperoni pizza.

Amici Trattoria Italian

11338 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33025

This next place is called Amici Trattoria Italiand and it’s another great Italian joint that’s right up there with La Famiglia. I love coming here for a nice night out to dinner when I’m in Miramar.

This place has it all. My favorite part about this place is that they have daily specials that change all the time, so you can always try something new when you come here.

Check out Amici Trattoria Italian off of Miramar Parkway in a small strip mall where the IHOP is located. It can be easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled!

Miga’s Florida

Miga’s Florida is the next place I want to mention when it comes to amazing places to eat in Miramar. This is a modern Latin American restaurant that will make all of your culinary dreams come true.

This restaurant is perfect for grabbing a delicious meal and hanging out for a while. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as their own butcher shop and deli. You can grab amazing sandwiches and meats to take home with you.

I recommend coming here for breakfast always, but any time is a good time to visit Miga’s.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza

If you’re ever in a city that has Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, then you’re in a pretty superb location. This restaurant chain has locations all over the state, so you’re never too far away from a delicious pizza.

What I love about Anthony’s is that they use real coal ovens to cook their pizza to the crispy perfection that I can’t get enough of.

You can find them inside the Fountains of Miramar shopping mall off of Southwest 160th Avenue. It’s a great place to grab a slice of pizza or a whole pie in between stops at the mall.

Eat Peru – Homestyle Peruvian Food

2010 SW 100th Terrace Suite H, Miramar, FL 33025

Visit Website

This next place that I want to point your attention towards is called Eat Peru. This restaurant is lowkey and kind of tucked away, so you may have to look for it a bit, but it’s worth it once you find it.

If you’ve never had Peruvian cuisine, this is definitely a great place to start. It’s all homestyle and made fresh and you can really tell here at Eat Peru.

I highly recommend trying the lomo saltado or the chicharron de pescado. Either one of these traditional Peruvian dishes is sure to blow your mind.

Francisca Charcoal Chicken & Meats

12703 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33027

Visit Website

Next up is Francisca Charcoal Chicken & Meats. I absolutely love this Latin American restaurant for all the tasty dishes that you might not find in too many other restaurants around town.

This place is located off of Miramar Parkway, just west of the Publix Super Market at Monarch Town Center, right inside The Shoppes at Monarch mall.

I highly recommend you try the chicken when you come here. You have the option of getting a ¼ chicken, a ½ chicken, or an entire chicken cooked to perfection in the signature Francisca style. It’s unbeatable, especially if you’re really hungry.

El Churrascaso Steak & Seafood

11608 City Hall Promenade, Miramar, FL 33025
Phone: 954-885-4800
Visit Website

Right inside the Miramar Town Center shopping mall is El Churrasco Steak & Seafood. This is an amazing restaurant to get some of the freshest fish and highest-quality cuts of steak around.

I recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys the classic rodizio experience, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t?

Just make sure you bring your appetite with you to El Churrasco Steak & Seafood. They will keep serving you delicious meats until you can’t eat any more, so if you want to get your money’s worth, come here on an empty stomach. You definitely will not be leaving with one!

Blue Ginger Seafood Steakhouse

14395 Miramar Pkwy #224, Miramar, FL 33027
Phone: 954-538-7988
Visit Website

Blue Ginger Seafood Steakhouse is an amazing Japanese restaurant that will satisfy all of your cravings for hibachi, sushi, and much more.

I thoroughly enjoy hibachi restaurants. There’s just something mesmerizing about seeing the food prepared before your eyes. If that’s not your thing, though, you should definitely check out the sushi menu.

I love coming here for lunch because of all the fantastic specials that they offer, but there’s never a bad time for Blue Ginger.

Don’t forget to take a look at their cocktail menu as well. They even have a two-person called the Volcano Bowl.

Tijuana Flats

14633 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33027
Phone: 954-437-9213
Visit Website

This next restaurant is a name that we should all be familiar with, Tijuana Flats. If you’ve never heard of or been to this establishment before, then you are missing out heavily.

Tijuana Flats has all the classic Mexican cuisine that you could ever want, and then some. I think the best part, however, is all of the complementary chips and salsa that you get when you sit down.

I always start off with a margarita when I come to Tijuana Flats. After that, I usually enjoy a quesadilla or a burrito, but the options are by no means limited.

Primo’s Pizza & Pasta

17173 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33027
Phone: 954-430-1930
Visit Website

Primo’s Pizza & Pasta is the next restaurant I want to mention, and for very good reason. You can find this incredible Italian restaurant off of Miramar Parkway in the Park View Square shopping mall where Winn-Dixie is located.

When you come to Primo’s, you should definitely grab yourself a glass of wine to sip on while you peruse the menu. They have a whole list of great wines, including some info on what to pair them with.

I recommend something from the baked pasta portion of the menu, but that’s just me. The pizza here is also a tantalizing option.

La Carreta Miramar

14791 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33027
Phone: 954-437-3602

Last, but not least, is La Carreta Miramar. This Cuban restaurant should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Miramar.

I enjoy everything about La Carreta, from the atmosphere to the delicious food. It’s a fun place to come hang out and relax with an espresso or a mojito, depending on the time of day.

I highly recommend the Cuban sandwich from La Carreta. It’s tough for me to dine at any Cuban restaurant and not try their Cuban sandwich, so that’s what I usually opt for, but everything on their menu is top-notch.

Final Thoughts

Miramar is a beautiful city that’s primarily made up of residential areas, but the restaurants are what really make this place shine.

The next time you’re going out to eat in Miramar, you’ll know exactly where to get whatever cuisine you’re in the mood for after reading this guide, so go ahead and get started.
