The Pines Country Club

The Pines Country Club, northwest of Valley, is situated on level terrain. Strategically placed traps guard the greens and sit in several fairways. The rough is seeded bluegrass, cut slightly longer than the fairways. The fairways are lined with trees. The large undulating greens, often cut short and quick, are the most challenging aspect of the course.

The Pines features a putting green, chipping green, practice bunker and driving range to hone your skills. To learn the skills of golf, the four PGA pros are more than happy to give lessons. Also, rental golf carts, clubs, and pull carts are available. The clubhouse features a locker room and a pro shop.

Omaha Parks & Recreation operates 8 outstanding municipal golf courses that challenge golfers of all skill levels. Tee times may be reserved 7 days in advance in person or by calling, or 5 days in advance by booking on-line . Each course offers public golf, league and tournament play, concessions, pro shop service and lessons. We also offer free golf clinics for youth ages 8 to 14.
