Pericle Communications Company is a nationally-recognized engineering firm specializing in wireless communications. Incorporated in 1992, Pericle is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The company is named after Pericle Rock, a rock formation on Pikes Peak popular with climbers. Pericle provides engineering services to public safety agencies, airports, local governments, and to the cellular, broadcast, aviation, and utility industries. Five of our team hold four-year degrees in electrical engineering and one is a senior radio technician with over 30 years experience with Motorola and Harris radio systems. Our owner, Jay Jacobsmeyer, has over 35 years experience in the industry and is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Colorado.

Our services run the gamut of wireless engineering, including RFP preparation, coverage modeling, drive test measurements, interference hunting, microwave path prediction, traffic engineering and RF exposure measurements. We have invested over $450,000 in test equipment and engineering software to help perform these services.

From 2004 through 2017 Pericle also developed communications, radar and ISR payloads for the U.S. Government. This business grew too large to fall under a engineering services firm and the aerospace business was spun off into a new firm, Augustus Aerospace Company.
