Red Stripe to Offer Three-Course Dinner for Providence Restaurant Weeks – Red Stripe

Red Stripe, located at 465 Angell Street in Providence, will offer a three-course dinner menu for dining in or take-out during Providence Restaurant Weeks, from August 16th through September 12th.  The cost is $31.95 per person; on Wednesdays, kids’ entrees for ages 12 and under will be available for $1.00 with the purchase of an adult entree. The first course includes a choice of Caesar Salad with artisan croutons, shaved Parmesan, and Caesar dressing; Mixed Greens Salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and shallot Dijon vinaigrette; Lobster Bisque, featuring cold water lobster and cream sherry; Crispy Artichoke Hearts topped with shaved Parmesan and garlic aioli; and Buffalo Cauliflower: tempura cauliflower with blue cheese and house-made hot sauce.

The entree selections include Steak Frites: grilled hanger steak and house frites with greens and a choice of gorgonzola butter or bordelaise butter; Atlantic Salmon served with charred corn and  jalapeño saffron rice, petite arugula, and avocado salsa; Chicken Parmesan served with a mountain of linguine, house-made marinara, mozzarella, and Parmesan; Lobster Mac & Cheese with a half-pound of cold water lobster meat; Pasta Bolognese: house-made Italian meat sauce rigatoni and parmesan; and Chicken Paillard: marinated chicken breast with baby greens and heirloom tomatoes.

Dessert features a choice of Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate: chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and chocolate shavings with whipped cream or New York Style Cheesecake with seasonal accompaniments.
