Ristorante Fabio

A Brief History

Ristorante Fabio is the latest in the legacy of Edmondo’s restaurants in New York. Edmondo Ciminati and his wife Tina began their venture in the early 70’s when  they opened up Edmondo’s Seafood restaurant in Throggs Neck, New York. Along with their children, Isabella, Mirella, Viviana and Fabio, they owned and operated many other restaurants, including Edmondo’s Italian Seafood restaurant in Eastchester, Sig. Edmondo’s on the east side of Manhattan, Edmondo’s in the Bronx and Edmondo’s Too in White Plains. In the summer of 1993 Edmondo and Tina  decided to sell the restaurants and head to Florida. On Dec. 13, 1993 they opened Ristorante Fabio.

After 20 wonderful years, Edmondo and Tina have passed their business onto their daughter Viviana. As of January 2014, she has become owner and chef. She has worked with her father Edmondo since the age of 13, and has cherished all that she has learned from him. It is with much pride that she can continue their legacy.

Since their first restaurant, to the present, the Ciminati family have strived to deliver authentic Northern Italian cuisine in a comfortable family atmosphere. It is with sincere gratitude that we thank all of our customers for your continued patronage and support!
