Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail | Golf in Alabama

The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail holds the accolade of the largest golf course construction project ever attempted; a collection of 468 golf holes & 26 courses on 11 different sites across the state of Alabama. This collection of public courses certainly confirms Trent Jones’ reputation as one of the finest golf course architects the game of golf has seen.

The trail began with Hampton Cove, Oxmoor Valley, Silver Lakes, Grand National, Cambrian Ridge, Highland Oaks and Magnolia Grove. Capitol Hill was added in 1999 with The Shoals and Ross Bridge following in 2005.

The Marriott at Capitol Hill, Marriott at Grand National, Marriott Shoals Resort and Spa and Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort all offer accommodation options while playing the trail.
