Rookwood Pottery Food & Beverage Co., in historic Mount Adams building, closes

Less than a year after opening in a historic Mount Adams building, Rookwood Pottery Food & Beverage Co. has closed its doors.

In a Facebook post on July 1, owners of the American-style eatery said a “variety of factors” contributed to the restaurant’s closing.

Rookwood Pottery Food & Beverage Co. opened last November in the 1892 Tudor-style building that, at one time, housed the kilns for Rookwood Pottery on Celestial Street. The Mount Adams building was later home to The Rookwood restaurant until it closed in 2016.

Brothers Bret and Brian Michaud opened Rookwood Pottery Food & Beverage Co. They previously owned the now-closed Teak Thai Cuisine Bar, also in Mount Adams, which has since reopened under new ownership in Over-the-Rhine.
