Silla Del Toro serving up tapas, build-your-own gin and tonics on Marietta Square starting next week

The menu features a variety of tapas including patatas bravas, fried seasoned potatoes with salsa brava ketchup and piquillo aioli; pinchos, marinated skirt steak with Catalan salsa verde and romesco sauce; fried Spanish sardines prepared with lemon, garlic and Spanish olive oil; and albondigas, Spanish-style meatballs in a Mediterranean tomato sauce. Also on offer are a number of charcuterie and cheese board preparations.

On the beverage side, look for a tight selection of Spanish-inspired cocktails, including the Bomboncita made with rum, sherrry, lemon, muscadine and bay leaf and the Flamenco Tune made with vodka, sherry, lime, black cherry, ginger and bubbles.

Feeling creative? Check out the build-your-own gin and tonic, offering a choice of gin (NB, Bar Hill or Mahone), one of three Fever Tree tonics and citrus, herb or spice garnishes.

Silla del Toro also offers an extensive selection of bubbles, red and white wines, sangrias and local and domestic beers.

Kinsey describes the restaurant’s interior as “contemporary and cozy,” with blue and gold accents, Spanish-style tile floors and exposed brick. Silla del Toro’s blue concrete bar can accommodate 12 guests and the dining area will accommodate 45. Minimal seating will be added outside.

In addition to Silla Del Toro, Fork U also owns multiple metro Atlanta locations of Taqueria Tsunami, Stockyard Burgers and Bones locations in Marietta, Vinings and East Cobb and pizza spot Forno Vero in Marietta Square Market.

Silla Del Toro will be open from 4-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 4 p.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday.
