Study the Book of Jonah with Dallas Theological Seminary — for free.

Dallas Theological Seminary is offering a new free online course that walks through the Book of Jonah. Learn about this reluctant Old Testament prophet who tried to escape God’s plan for his life. This course will take you through all four chapters of the Book of Jonah—from Jonah’s reluctance to go to Nineveh, to his hesitation to preach repentance to the people, and finally to the book’s sudden ending with God confronting Jonah about caring more for a plant than for Nineveh’s citizens.

Using the Bible as the central course of study, Dallas Theological Seminary has equipped pastors, teachers, missionaries, and scholars for nearly 100 years. We believe the Bible is “useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).

The Book of Jonah has a lot to teach us about following where God leads and how to love others. And now DTS is sharing excerpts from our Jonah class with you. This free online course, taught by Dr. Mark Yarbrough, will walk you through the familiar story of Jonah and the whale, but expose deeper truths present that apply to all of us today.
