The King’s Academy * West Palm Beach * Two Day Blended Learning Class.
The Blended Learning format allows students to watch American Red Cross instructional videos at the convenience of their home. Course information will be delivered through a web based presentation. Students then attend two full day training sessions at the pool to practice hands-on rescues, entries, CPR, First Aid, and how to handle spinal injuries.
The American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course will certify participants to become lifeguards. The course is designed to teach individuals ages 15 and older the skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services take over. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Administering Emergency Oxygen valid for 2 years that is universally accepted for hire.
