TikTok: Hailey Bieber reveals Julia Carolan’s restaurant video left her “so upset”

Hailey Bieber has opened up about how a TikTok video where she was rated badly by New York waitress Julia Carolan really made her feel.

Last year, a New York waitress went viral on TikTok for rating the celebrities who came into the fancy Manhattan restaurant where she works.

She quickly accumulated over 300,000 followers after revealing the behavior and politeness of some A-listers that she served, and one of the people she rated badly was model Hailey Bieber.

Months later, Hailey has just opened up about how the TikTok made her feel.

Julia Carolan rates Hailey Bieber on TikTok

In July 2020, Julia Carolann made a video where she rated the behaviour of Gigi Hadid, Cameron Dallas, Kylie Jenner and loads more celebrities who came into the fancy New York restaurant where she worked.

However, the rating that really shocked viewers was Hailey Bieber, as Julia certainly didn’t have very good things to say about her.

“Next up we have Mrs Bieber, this is gonna be controversial,” she said. “I’ve met her a handful of times and every time she was not nice. I really want to like her but I have to give her like a 3.5 out of 10. Sorry.”

Hailey Bieber commented on the video

The video went viral and gained over 18 million views, and it even caught the attention of Hailey herself who commented on it and apologised.

She wrote:

“Just came across this video, and wanted to say so sorry if I’ve ever given you bad vibes or a bad attitude. That’s not ever my intention!”

She also said that she hoped she could meet Julia again one day to “apologise in person”.

Now Hailey has opened up about how the video made her feel

Months after the video was posted, Hailey has just opened up to Dr. Clemons on YouTube about how the video really made her feel.

“When I saw her video I was so upset. There’s never an excuse for being rude. I felt bad that that was her experience with me, but it made me kind of frustrated because you never know what someone’s going through.,” she said.

Hailey then said that she remembers going through times where she was “so sad and so heartbroken” that “engaging with people felt hard”, explaining that this is why she often came across as rude without meaning to.

“I wish I didn’t act that way towards her. I’m a human and I made a mistake and I acted a way that was out of character for me. I acted a way that I don’t want to be,” she continued.

She then said that she’s “trying to do better every single day” and revealed that she is “open to people correcting” her in order to “grow as a person”.
