Where to Eat in Zahle: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Reviewed By archersarrow – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We arrived just before 6pm on a weekday, so perhaps it was an odd time to visit/dine as there was no one else there. In spite of the fact that we hadn’t booked a tour, the staff were very amenable in giving us a quick tour of the winery and a tasting.
We ordered medium (“a point”) steaks with frites and the basket of wonderful warm bread promised great things. Unfortunately, the main meal was awful! Both steaks were over-cooked and barely chewable. The “frites” were microwaved oven chips (we heard the microwave ping!) and the the mixed vegetables were straight out of a tin.
The service was good and the ambience was pleasant, but the quality of the food was awful for the price paid!
