a2 Milk Company

Admation worked with the international teams at a2 Milk Company to walk through the initial configurations of what their customisation would look like, provide test training and walk-throughs with decision makers, and provide help guides to those who attended the initial training so they could further assist their teams where required.

But what made this rollout such as success was the way admation and a2 were able to implement it with the entire team across international departments. Rather than trying to apply new software to the entire business at once, a product champion was tasked with being the key project lead, with this project being used as a pilot trial. This allowed a2MC to tweak the initial set up and provide suggestions for how their department was using the software, meaning we could customise it even further to their needs.

• Information was then fed through the heads of departments, project leads and specific admins, to ensure software requirements were clear and did not change often.

• All business users were given access to interactive training sessions with the admation team, so they could better understand the workflow themselves.

• Users were only taught the parts of the workflow that were relevant to them, reducing the risk of confusion and mistakes.

• The software was introduced slowly to other departments, meaning there was support from internal areas of the business who wanted to use the platform, as well as those who already knew how to use it.

• Any product development or feature requests from admation didn’t hold up the rollout and staff were happy to use the software as it was until the new features were made available.

• And finally, there was a clear handover of admation admin and clear ownership put on certain members with a2MC to oversee the software moving forward, providing accountability in the future.
