Don’t even bother. It’s like they don’t want your business, the agents are jerks the process is long and time consuming, their rates are not competitive. The whole experience is bad. Most people think “Oh I need a loan, I will go to my bank” don’t.

Worst customer service takes more than 2 hours just to connect them and then they have bad attitude.

I was approved for the loan, uploaded the vehicle documents and called customer service the next day to gain an understanding of the process and what to expect. Between 2 separate calls, I was on hold for 3 hours total waiting for a loan specialist. It’s been 11 days and still nobody has contacted me. Seems that they don’t need or value my business. I took my 750+ credit elsewhere (LightStream) and was approved within an hour with a better interest rate and had the funds within 48 hours.

I am currently still on hold to speak with an agent for 4.5 hours.

Don’t bother! They advertise quick approval but they take 4-5 business days to give approval. I have top of the line credit and should have been given the instant approval they advertise – will not apply to Bank of America for any time of loan every again!

The process takes too long and the initial customer service agents to call in after pre-approval are very rude. Feels like i am calling the IRS

Denied loan with a bogus reason of insufficient credit. Terrible experience. Customer service as well as branch advisors are not helpful.

As a licensed used car dealer I can’t stress enough to stay away from getting a used car loan from BoA. Their bureaucracy and processes are so complex and obtuse that it often is a huge PITA for both the buyer and the dealer.

My car has been sitting at the dealership for days now because they can’t figure out what’s going on. I was already approved and payments set up and still no car, no check, I REGRET EVER GOING TO BANK OF AMERICA.
