Bình Sơn Refinery Expansion

Bình Sơn Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR), a subsidiary of the PetroVietnam (PVN), is responsible for managing and operating the Dung Quat Refinery in Bình Sơn District, Quang Ngai Province, Central Vietnam. A forward-thinking enterprise, BSR and PVN have been leading the oil refining industry of Vietnam over the past decade and cites the pursuit of production excellence as part of its core values. A core value which we at IntES are very aligned with, and so when we were approached to work on the expansion of the refinery, we were delighted to be involved.

The capacity of BSR’s Dung Quat Refinery is nearly 150 thousand barrels/day (6.5 million tones of crude oil every year). The plant’s products include Mogas A92/A95 and E5/10; Jet A1/Jet A1K fuels; kerosene; diesel; fuel oil (FO); liquefied petroleum gas (LPG); propylene; polypropylene resins and sulfur.
