Diamante has two championship golf courses, the Dunes Course and El Cardonal. The Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal is the newer of the two but has quickly earned a global reputation owing to its famous designer.

This golf link has everything from coastal sand dunes, high desert, and arroyos to lush tropical vegetation. El Cardonal boasts spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from every hole, a unique feature for Cabo’s golf courses. It’s considered a “must play” course when you’re on a Cabo golf vacation.

4. Querencia – Fazio Golf

Querencia is design record holders Tom Fazio’s first Mexican masterpiece. It’s ranked as Mexico’s no. 1 course by Golfweek magazine and has consistently landed in Golf Digest’s Top 100 worldwide.

The course is a semi-exclusive, gated residential club sits on the high hills bounded by gorges and deep arroyos. Its particular location provides an unusual mix of ocean, desert, and city views.

5. Quivira Golf Club

Perched on a hilltop near the Pacific coastline north of Cabo San Lucas, Quivira is Jack Nicklaus’ sixth Los Cabos golf course design and his second masterpiece. This 7,085-yard, 18-hole course snakes smoothly along steep cliffs and through natural dunes and desert foothills.

Quivira opened in 2014, winning “The 2014 Development of the Year” award, as well as “Best New International Golf Course” by GOLF Magazine.
