Cappadocia Restaurant | Kingston
Found this by chance when looking for a restaurant next to the cinema in Kingston. Situated right on the one way system – great for the cinema opposite but perhaps not the most scenic location. First impressions – busy, noisy, not luxurious – but staff dressed smartly. Instantly seated (get a reservation) – menu was extensive – all my favourite Turkish dishes – even Pide – hadn’t had that this visiting Kayseri (central Turkey- not far from Cappadocia). We totally over ordered – 3 starters & 2 mains. Every dish was a delight – falafel – humus – lamb – chicken. Best I have ever had in a Turkish restaurant. With 3 beers and a tip – it came to £70 – so not cheap for a Turkish restaurant – but this is seriously good food. We took what we couldn’t eat in a take away bag – too good to leave behind. We will go back – often.
