Collage Restaurant of St. Augustine named as one of America’s 100 best

A St. Augustine restaurant has been named one of the 100 best in America by an online reservations company.

Collage was one of just three Florida restaurants to make the list, compiled by OpenTable, a company that specializes in reservations. It’s based on a more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by OpenTable users, who visited more than 20,000 restaurants.

Collage, which is at 60 Hypolita St. in St. Augustine’s historic district, bills itself as “artful global dining” and features fish from local waters and produce from Northeast Florida farmers. It is run by owners Mike Hyatt and Cindy Stangby.

Circle Brunch at The Breakers in Palm Beach and Norman’s at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando were the only other Florida restaurants to make the list.

The OpenTable list ranks the 10 best restaurants in order. St. Francis Winery & Vineyards in Santa Rosa, Calif., topped the list. The other 90 restaurants, including Collage, are listed in alphabetical order.
