This Post: CPR Training | Missoula, MT – Official Website
Missoula Fire Department (MFD) offers the American Heart Association (AHA) Heart-saver CPR training to the public. The class covers adult, infant and child CPR along with AED training.
RED : Black & White
Classes are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month beginning at 7 p.m. and last approximately three hours. Classes are held at our Station 3 located at 1501 39th Street and requires pre-registration.
Registration
Participants must be pre-registered, as class size is limited to 12 participants. All registration is done at Missoula Fire Station Number 1, located at 625 E. Pine Street. Please call 406-552-6210 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to sign up or ask further questions about our classes.
MFD routinely has alternates waiting to take our CPR classes. If you are pre-registered and cannot make the class, please call to reschedule or cancel your registration.
Fees
The American Heart Association has updated their fees for certification cards. As a result, the Missoula Fire Department is offering two new options as of March 1, 2018:
- AHA 2 year Certification Card for employment or certification purposes, the fee for the class will be $50.00 per person.
- If you are taking the class for your own personal use and do not need an AHA certification card, the fee for the class will be $25.00 per person and you will receive a MFD Training Certificate. If at a later time, and still within the 2 year AHA certification date, you may request the card for the additional $25.00 fee. Please note: this card will have the same expiration date as the original MFD Certificate.
- In all cases, groups and businesses will be required to pre-pay for all attendees based on the fees above.
