Restaurant – Cafe – Bar, a Canadian chain specializing in all-day breakfast opened its first Texas location off N. Loop 1604 W. in San Antonio near Stone Oak. Traditionally, the order of expansions starts in Dallas, followed by Houston, Austin and then San Antonio, however San Antonio in its ever evolving state will be the target for many new chains first destination. WoodCo had presented Open Studio Architecture with a lunch and learn presentation on our reclaimed and new wood products we have available. It was then Open Studio came back to WoodCo and felt the Eggspecation design should include reclaimed material on the outside and inside of the restaurant. After contemplating several wall paneling’s, Open Studio Architecture chose the Wheaton Wallboard, which is a hardwood barnsiding filled with rich browns, tans and hints of greys. If you are ever driving around 1604 W. Eggspecations is hard to miss and don’t just pass by, stop and enjoy some yummy breakfast and brunch items. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
