On Dec. 1, a representative from IOK Company announced that after an in-depth discussion about the future activities and potential growth of ELRIS with the band’s initial label, Hunus Entertainment, they have reached an agreement to transfer the management of the girl group to IOK Company.
The rep added that they are delighted to start working with ELRIS and that the label promises not to withhold any support from the group so that the band can meet the fans with more active promotions soon while they grow as artists.”
With that said, ELRIS now joins IOK Company’s roster of actors such as Jo In Sung, Go Hyun Jung, Shin Hye Sun, Kim Ha Neul and more. The agency also now manages former iKON member B.I. (who is also a shareholder) after they expanded into the music production industry earlier this year.
ELRIS originally debuted as a five-member group under Hunus Entertainment in June 2017. Three years later, the label added two new members namely Chaejeong and EJ, making the band a septet.
ELRIS then made their first comeback as a seven-piece band in February of last year with their fourth mini-album “Jackpot.”
Meanwhile, Hunus Entertainment is currently home to two idol groups (XENO-T and ROMEO) and many actors including Ahn Se Ha, Jin Ye Sol, Kim Yoon Seo, Park Yoon Jae, Yoon So Yi and more.
We wish ELRIS the best of luck with their career under their new agency IOK Company.
