Hoots Wings

North Fort Worth will soon see the opening of a new chicken wing spot backed by the same restaurant group behind Hooters.

The attire here, however, won’t be quite as tight-fitting.

Hoots Wings, a franchise under the HOA (Hooters of America) Brands umbrella, will open at 5313 Golden Triangle Blvd. on Monday, offering wings in five different varieties alongside chicken sandwiches, seafood, and salads meant to “satisfy all members of the family,” according to the restaurant.

Wings come either breaded, smoked, naked, boneless, or roasted — which diners can customize with 14 options of sauces and dry rubs including garlic habanero, Texas BBQ, and lemon pepper. Additional offerings include shrimp, sandwiches, waffle fries, and mozzarella sticks.

The franchisee is Dallas-based AE Restaurant Group, led by husband-and-wife duo Cary and Jackie Albert, who also run several Schlotzsky’s locations. Hoots already has seven locations open in Illinois, Georgia, and Florida; the Alberts are Hoots’ first franchisees focused on developing restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Austin areas, with plans to open 60 locations in Texas within the next six years.

“From the second we learned about Hoots Wings, we knew this was the perfect franchise opportunity for us,” Jackie Albert said in a statement. “We are excited to open our second location and serve the people of DFW and the surrounding communities. We know they will love our diverse menu of over 10,000 flavor combinations. We’re so excited to play a role in the history of Hoots Wings as their first-ever Texas franchisees and to bring the amazing to community and beyond.”

Hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with the exception of Friday, when hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. More information is available at hootswings.com.
