Florida Dental Professionals

NetCE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American
Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers
of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual
courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of
dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the

Continuing Education

Dentists are required 28 general hours every two years, all of which may be
completed by home study.*
Mandates include:

  • Two (2) hours of Medical Errors every renewal, in
    addition to general hours.
  • Two (2) hours of Domestic Violence every third
    renewal, in addition to general hours.
  • One (1) hour on human trafficking one-time only. This
    course is included in general hours and must be completed by January 1,
    2021.
  • Dentists registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and
    authorized to prescribe controlled substances must complete 2 hours of safe and effective prescribing of controlled substance
    medications every renewal, included in general hours.
  • Two (2) hours of HIV/AIDS one-time only, at initial
    renewal.

may be completed by home study.*
