French Bistro Opens In The West Village: What To Know

WEST VILLAGE, NY — For your next date night you might want to check out the new French bistro that recently opened in the West Village.

It is an 80-seat French restaurant offering a modern version of Parisian bistro classics, with most entrees priced at $30 and under. There is also a bar that serves an extensive list of curated wines and craft beers.

The new eatery also has high ceilings with oak wood floors, tan banquettes and big antique mirrors to “evoke the trademarks of the French capital institutions called brasseries,” reads its website.

“Mino is derived from the word “Minot” which translates into kid in French slang, and it is fully dedicated to our children,” an About section on the website reads. “The concept celebrates the moments of happiness spent as a kid and aims at being a testimony of peaceful memories from our childhood.”
