Complete 75 Hours of New York Pre-License Courses Online

The New York State Department of State (NYSDOS) requires 75 hours of basic real estate education with an approved provider like us before you apply for your real estate license.

Our New York pre-licensing courses are delivered online – you can finish them at your own pace. No need to commute to a classroom, even for your proctored final.

New York Pre-License Course Final Exam and Proctor Instructions

At the end of the 75-hour New York Real Estate Salesperson Pre-License course, students are required to pass the course final exam with a score of 70% or higher. NYSDOS requires the final course exam to be supervised (or “proctored”) to maintain the integrity of the exam. Typically, that means scheduling an in-person test with a proctor at an approved proctor facility.

In addition to the above, NYSDOS requires all final exams to be taken with a proctor in the state of NY. There is no exception to this rule.

Students taking their course through 360training.com can schedule an appointment at our approved proctor facility by clicking here.

NOTE: The final exam is closed book and must be passed in 2 attempts or less. Re-attempts will require rescheduling at the proctor facility (additional fee will be applicable).

Should you have any questions or require assistance in scheduling, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.

Prepare for the New York License Exam

New York State actually gives you 8 years to pass the state license exam after successfully completing your pre-license course. We really recommend you don’t wait longer than you have to, however – the exam covers the coursework, so the longer you wait, the more you’ll have to study to refresh your memory.

Either way, we suggest you take advantage of our exam prep course, which you can buy separately or as part of the Premium Package. You’ll get condensed study guides to focus your efforts on important subjects, as well as practice exams that test you in the same areas as the official state exam. By taking advantage of these materials, you’ll be confident you’re prepared before you ever walk into the exam center.
