Good Fortune, a new Asian fusion bar and restaurant, will open out of St. Pete's Station House this summer

Not to be confused with Good Fortune Baby—

The upcoming 6,000 square-foot restaurant at 260 1st Ave. S will feature an intimate 12-seat sushi bar, indoor seating and an outdoor patio, as a press release states. Good Fortune’s layout will be an open-floor concept that revolves around the focal point of the restaurant, its 14-seat cocktail bar.

"The bar will be a beautiful centerpiece for people to meet and enjoy our outstanding cocktail menu and beverage program with a selection of Japanese whiskeys and different styles of Sake, plus a selection of local and unique beers, wine and bubbles,” says Hunger Thirst Group Founder + CEO Stephen Schrutt.

Schrutt also states that Good Fortune’s menu will be sushi-forward, but will still feature a wide range of other Asian dishes, as well. Although its specific sushi rolls are still unknown, other highlights on the menu include spicy tuna  and seaweed salad puree served on crispy rice and spicy pork and chive Szechuan dumplings—as recently previewed by

And if you’re familiar with Hunger Thirst Group’s other concepts throughout The Burg’, you can probably expect neon signs depicting  kitschy phrases throughout the upcoming Good Fortune space—in addition to its signature sleek decor and low lighting.

A press release from the restaurant group also states that Good Fortune will have its very own private karaoke room, although it’s unsure what its capacity will be.
