Our Story

Famiglia, which is Italian for family, was founded by Andrew Harris, John Furci, and our outstanding business partners. Who We Are

Andrew Harris brings 16 years of restaurant experience to Famiglia in Greenville, NC. Although he is not Italian, he has become Italian by marriage to his better half! Anna’s family, the Pansini’ and Ingeri family heritage comes from Trieste, Italy (NE Italy) and Bari, Italy (S. Italy). Our grandmother, Anna Pansini, has shown us the importance of cooking with love, patience, and fresh ingredients.

John Furci brings hospitality, construction experience, and Italian recipes to the Famiglia table. We have poured blood, sweat, and tears into this building with the help of John. He is an amazing contractor and is knowledgeable as a restaurant entrepreneur throughout his life serving with his family in NY and with his wife, Liz Furci in Greenville, NC.  John Furci is from Long Island, NY and now lives with his wife in Greenville, NC. John and Liz have raised a beautiful family, Danielle, Michael, and Rachel along with their grandson, Rhett. The Furci family heritage is from Calabria, Italy (SW Italy) and Sora, Italy between Rome and Naples.
